To our son Max, Happy 6th Birthday baby. I have never held you in my arms but when I finally get that chance, I promise to never let go. We love you and are coming as fast as we can.
Our papers are in and we are just waiting for the call to come from Ukraine. We are thinking our first trip over will be around April 28th...see you soon sweet boy!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI'm from South Jordan and we have been trying to adopt from Ukraine. We were hoping to adopt a girl with HIV under 5, but the new special needs list has prevented that. I have two sisters (6) in Odessa on my heart, but they are older than our son who is 5. He is so set on being the oldest. How has your family handled this issue as Sergei is the oldest? I would love to hear from you. daniellemariaperry@gmail.com Good luck with everything; it looks like you're almost there!
Oh and what hosting group did you use? Are they doing it again this year?
ReplyDeleteBecky! :) I am friends with Kortney Lo. She told me about you and your families AMAZING story and shared your blog with me. I have read through it several times, and each time I end up with tears streaming down my face! Your story touches my heart and gives me hope! :) We (my husband and I) live in Draper and we are beginning our adoption process. I KNOW EXACTLY how you feel when you say that your sons are on the other side of the world and your heart aches to bring them home. My heart is in Haiti. :) The financial portion seems so daunting sometimes, but I see what you guys have done and I KNOW it is possible. Thank you for all your honesty and for sharing your feelings on your blog. Hopefully we can meet one day soon! God bless you and your BEAUTIFUL family of 7!! -Angie Quinlan
